A faithful nod to the original Jordan 7 Hare from 1992, leather overlays across this German-sportscar-inspired silhouette are clad in “White.” Perforated midfoot underlays and toe boxes borrow Bugs Bunny’s “Neutral Grey” arrangement, which also appears on the tongue, but in a translucent finish. As with the first “Hare Jordan,” tongues and accents across the heel and outsole boast an eye-catching “True Red.” And yet, the hue is (arguably) overshadowed by the “Hare’s” most iconic detail: a multi-colored pattern on the tongue. The Jordan 6‘s version, however, ups the ante by also featuring the jagged-graphic on the tongue’s underside and sockliner. Furthermore, it adds rich purple to its Jumpman logos on the rear and underfoot, as well as vibrant green to carrot-like lace toggles and outsole.

Jordan 1 "Royal Toe"

 Air Jordan 1 is quickly moving on to its next 2.0 with the forthcoming Game Royal colorway. Hued in the signature blue much like that of its predecessor, the pair lies heavily familiar even despite the tweak in color blocking. And thanks to these very changes, it effectively eludes the 2018 rendition’s oft-mentioned Fragment association as it more aggressively alternates between the colorful and neutral. The toe box here dyes entirely in a the cool tone, matching the more subtle hits at the ankle and the tread. Elsewhere, achromatic mid-sole walls wrap underneath a profile of black toe caps, swooshes, and heel overlays as well as a base of clean white smooth leathers. Tongues switch up fabrics with a bit of nylon, leading up to a leather-backed “Nike Air” branding whose Wings complement reflects the same contrasting execution.

AIR JORDAN 5 "FIRE RED"

Though many have been postponed, this year’s Jordan releases are already poised to be something special, including quite a few noteworthy collaborations as well as long-awaited revivals. Among the latter, the Air Jordan 5 is set to reprise its “Fire Red” colorway, though it’ll just take a little bit longer to arrive as we wait out COVID-19. Dressed to its original likeness — a trend throughout the entire Nike umbrella as it seems — the upper is replete with white leathers and matching inner cages. Accents atop, such as the heel’s “Nike Air” embroidery and the laces top-placed toggle, are as they would be on the OG, dyeing both a bright red while surrounding the lace fixture with clear acrylic. Linings, the Jumpman insignia, and the patterns along the black midsole all form in the titular shade, with the tongues themselves finishing with the pair’s signature silver metallic. Grab an official look at the Fire Red 5s right here and expect to see them hit Nike and select retailers come May 2.
